The Genetic Choir, focussed on improvisation, is founded and directed by Thomas Johannsen and based in Amsterdam.
In 2013, in a close cooperation with Tanja Smit, the choir gave three mayor performances based on the textworks; one in Studio Loos in The Hague, and two in the ‘Toon en Taal Festival’ in Theater Provadja, Alkmaar. Singers were Alexandra de Groot, Amazone Nativel, Anita Kooij, Gabriëlle Barros Martins, Hans Paape, Jeannette Huizinga, Marjolijn Roeleveld, Peter Huber, Tanaquil Schuttel, Thomas Johannsen and Yinske Silva.
