  • Trailer ‘Genesis Reconstructed, Noah’‘

     Trailer, 3,22 minutes; whole video 12,44 minutes. Noah and the deluge. The video shows fragments of a sound performance, together with the graphic scores the music is based upon. The scores are my textworks upon the story of Noah, drawn directly upon scans of a Dutch bible.
You can follow the original text, see the interventions, and hear their translation into sound; a fusion between my musical ideas and the experience and creativity of the three musicians: percussionist Orlando Aguilar and singers Monica Akihary and Han Buhrs.
The performance took place in art centre Pictura, Dordrecht on 20 April 2019, in the exhibition ‘Het Woord’.
